After the promotion is secured, I started looking at some stats for last time we were in Premier League with Hecky.

When Wilder left us on 13. March, we had these stats that season.
PWDLGoalsDif.PointsAvg. Ppg.

Hecky took over a day before Leicester away, so he only had one day with the team. So kinda unfair to judge him on that. Therefore i made two list for Hecky. One with and one without that game.

With:
PWDLGoalsDif.PointsAvg. Ppg.
114075-18-13120,9
Without:
PWDLGoalsDif.PointsAvg.Ppg.
104065-13-8121,2

We played mostly 5-3-2, yeah the flat 3 midfield. If I remember correctly he also tried some variants of 5-2-3 with wingers.
As we have seen this season, when we are favorites we use more of an 5-2-3.

The squad he was mainly using where these:
Ramsdale
Baldock/Bogle - Basham - Egan - Robinson - Stevens/Bryan
Lundstram/Berge - Norwood - Osborn/Fleck
McGoldrick - Brewster/Burke

Mousset and Jagielka was also a part of the squad.

If you see what he averaging for these games, with a team on very low morale, I feel a bit optimistic with the chances for next season.
I think our squad also is an upgrade on what he had last time (If we get to keep Doyle and McAtee for another season).
Hopefully we get some new decent signings that can help us stay up.

Scoring on Old Trafford, along side the masterstrike from Burke. 😆
