PH can moan all he likes about poor training facilities and having no money to spend in January. Both fair points. But the fact is he has had the luxury of what on paper is a very good squad, a 14 point lead up at one point and a great stadium and pitch with big crowds back his side. The fact that it looks like he will blow it and that he is still making fundamental mistakes in team selection and tactics after being here for for a year and a half means that he is failing. If we don't go up now does anyone really think that he is the best man for the job to get us promoted next season? Fucks sake we could be 20 points clear next season and we would still be shitting ourselves in case PH and co had another collective fuck up. He needs to take us up now or he needs to go. He can think himself highly lucky that we have no leadership at the top atm as otherwise he could have been getting his P45 tonight. It might be a four year contract but I wouldn't think he would be on too much money and it might have break clauses in so that any pay off wouldn't be expensive. From what I recall we had to give him a contract length that was at least as long as his existing coaching contract. Nothing to say that we had to offer him a big increase. So I think the length of his contract and any pay off amount maybe a bit of a red herring. I really wanted to see PH succeed as I liked him as a fella but it's getting increasingly obvious that he isn't good enough as a manager. Coach fine. Manager sorry needs to go either asap or at the season end. I don't want him being the SUFC manager next season that's for certain.

The bloke has consistently put in the most mind-numbingly boring away performances ever since he took charge and has fluked his way to second in the division.

He’s one of the most boring managers Ive ever had the misfortune to watch at United. His football is toss. Its not exciting, its fucking boring.
