Blackwell has just made the usual pratt of himself saying Killa may still go in the JTW. This coming only days after he promised if a deal wasn't done in the first week, it wouldn't be done at all!!

I noticed that, really annoys me when he comes out with such blatant lies.
But then I got distracted by just how fat John Parkin looks in that picture on the OS... unbelievable!

I don't think he promised it wouldn't be done, said it would take a really good bid as I remember.

Heard it with my own ears. He said after the first week of the JTW, if no deal for Kilgallon was done then he would be staying for the season. Blackwell then said the reason was that if he went, then it would give the club time to suitably strengthen the team before the end of january.

Nothing that comes out of that blokes gob surprises me any more.

On that basis, I've stopped listening to him.

Come on, the subtext is that United need money and selling Killa is one way of getting it.
That won't be Blackwell's choice and if McCabe thinks £1m now is better than fannying around for four months waiting for us to finish 10th then he'll be sold.
Blackwell knows that.

It'll have hardly anything to do with Blackwell. Frankly, it surprises me that people still think that money sales do.

If anything I think he deserves to be commended for being the front line and taking the flack.

Remember Muttley, in this instance you're comparing a manager with a chairman.

I stopped believing Blackwell after the first day in the job after he said we were going to play fluid attacking football & get crosses into the box.

McCabe wants the money that Killa`s transfer will generate, all Blackwell has to do, is make like its Killa who wants to go.

It wouldn't surprise me that Killa goes as a last minute deal similar to Tonge .
One of those we wanted to keep him but a last minute offer came in that was too good to turn down.Although the window is now closed the money will be spent on strengthening the squad in the summer!

Well, yes I know that, but why dosen't he just keep his gob shut then?

There has not been a lot of sense coming out of the lane this season.
The PR is about as disjointed as the team
UTB:(

Because with the media frenzy that surrounds every aspect of the game it isn't an option.

There are papers, websites and 24 hour news/sports channels all trying to get something that no-one else has. It's tedious and boring but somebody must be out there reading/listening to it all.

Well I grant you that Blackie is looking a bit portly lately, but I'm not sure he's ready for a gastric band fitment just yet.

So the answer is no, he hasn't got strappon disease!
