So, Harry comes on in the 85th minute due to an injury to Meyler with Hull 2-1 up, 3 minutes later they're losing 3-2, ooops!

Given his playing time so far, I wonder what he's earning per first-team minute.

He should come back on loan for the season.

This would benefit us and Hull.

Won't happen, Fat Bruce has said "no chance he will go on loan to SUFC".

They'll place him into a Championship club.

Surely Harry will have some say in the matter.Wasn't he at the Lane with Quinnyfor the Rochdale game? If he had a choice, and he was still receiving his Hull wage, I'm guessing he'd choose us as opposed to many others. He still has all his mates and family in the area

Maquire is a Dull City player now and there is absolutely no chance of him coming back here on loan this season to help us out of our predicament, so basically if he isn't playing for us I don't give a flying what he does in Dull colours.

A few have allready mentioned it, and it feels like a jilted boyfriend stalking his ex to me, why when we sell a player do we go on about them?

Yeah he shouldn't have been sold, clough didn't want to sell him and said he would rather keep him for a promotion push this season and let him go on a free, the club cashed in, he's gone, we need to stop wasting time going on about it...

Just feels daft to me....

hate to be padantic, but fat bruce said HM would not be going back to sheffield, lack of respect from the fat one in my book !

Bruce showed his class by shaking Nigels hand when Hull got their 5th in the semi final ,before the final whistle. Clough didn't like it but didn't make a fuss ,but it showed what a contemptable bastard he is.

It wouldn't benefit Hull dropping him back into League 1.

He'll be at a Chumpionship club by kick-off Satdi although I wouldn't be surprised if Neil took him to Palarse. Either way, Hull need to get him playing, and at a higher level than us.

Ooh ooh another Harry thread. He'll be up there with Ched, Brownfact and new shirts in the revolving thread machine soon.

from today's Hull local rag

"The gut-wrenching defeat leaves Bruce with only Premier League football to occupy his inflated squad until the New Year. The City manager had hoped a cast of hopefuls would not only book a place in the fourth round but also give him a headache ahead of facing Manchester City on Saturday. Bruce left The Hawthorns with neither."

Premiership clubs can't sign anyone (on loan, frees - anyone at all) until January. He'll be sent on a three month loan at a Championship club - probably 'Boro.

A couple of years from now I'll be watching Clachnacuddin vs Inverurie Loco Works on BBC Alba and out of the babble of Gaelic will loom the words "Harry Maguire".

from sky website today

" Frustrated by his side's recent defensive frailties, Bruce nevertheless admitted he may consider allowing England Under-21 centre back Harry Maguire, signed from Sheffield United in the summer, to go out on loan.

He said: "I don't think there's any benefit in letting him go back to Sheffield United, and the one thing I've said to Harry is 'look if there's not enough game time for you then we will look to then maybe put you out on loan'.

"It's something that I will look at for a few players. You can see last night people need games and sometimes it benefits them - with Matty Fryatt we did it fantastically well last year - he went out to Sheffield Wednesday and played six or seven games, then came back and did very, very well.

"It's something that we may look at. At the moment I'm just delighted that Harry is with us, getting used to playing in the training regimes. He's only a young boy - the future's very bright for him - he's just going to have to be a little bit patient."

So Bruce is praising the benefits of the loan system, unless the club that the player is loaned to is Sheffield United

I want them to go down almost as much as the pigs

What's the problem? He's spent a considerable sum of money on a defender and wants him to gain greater experience against better players so he can come in and slot into their squad if and when required. He's clearly not going to get that playing against Colchester, Gillingham etc so it makes sense for him to go to Championship and test himself further.

Nothing wrong with what he said, just who said it.
