Presumably because he's considered to be Canada's biggest prospect, joined us a coupla years ago and spent most of the time with knee ligament problems.

becuase for some reason the academy like to have about 30 players in the u18s

god knows why they do it because only a couple of them will ever play for us, the rest do nothing until they are 21/22 then get released. complete waste of money IMO

that made me curious. just found on the hansa hp that he scored in a friendly (8-1 @sachsenhausen).
