GOODBYE Mr ROBSON

Only just noticed this thread.

I shall ask you the same question as I have asked everyone else...

Who would you have instead?

I asked all the Warnock-haters the same question and in hindsight, their answer of "anyone but Warnock" doesn't seem to have provided a satisfactory solution.

Well at the time we got Robson there wasn't really anyone out there apart from Coleman and Jewell.

Id say it is still slim pickings now and If we do decide to change we need to lure someone away from there job rather than pick people who are out of work.

We've been through this time and time again. People suggest who they woiuld like, and there is ALWAYS somebody who comes along and says they aren't good enough.

I watched an old cup final with Robson playing for Man U. He could pass the ball well, had great vision, always made himself available, got stuck in, never gave up and there was no lack of passion. You do not lose that just because you choose to stand calmly on the sidelines. I have no doubt he will get us back up.

Off the top of my head...

Paul Ince. Chris Coleman. Mark McGhee. Martin Allen. Gary Speed. Sammy McIlroy. Gary Johnson.

Another boring 'Robson Out' thread...
He's been backed in the transfer window so he's with us til the end of the season barring any drunken incidents or massive losing streaks. End of story.
Whether you like him or not we should just knuckle down and get behind him and the team he picks.

Unless things pick up we could well find ourselves in the a relegation scrap and really, how long can the board continue backing him if that happens? I don't think it's a "boring Robson Out thread". Stuart Pearce, anyone? :)

No, we have Del Boy :D and anyway Stuart Pearce is the next England manager unless Capello wins the world cup.
