I'm going to be run off my feet tomorrow and probably most of the time now through to the match on Boxing day therefore premature or not I will get it in now otherwise I won't have time.........

Anyway.........Hope you all have a smashing Christmas with the family and friends etc, have a shandy or two for me and see you all at BDTBL on Boxing day.

All the best and up the blades.

Merry Winterval.

You ever been in Coventry at Christmas time? I worked there for a few months in 2004-2005 and Christmas had seemingly been airbrushed out of history.

Plenty of signage referring to the "winter festival", but not a mention of Christmas anywhere.

In Chapeltown (the Leeds version) there is a sign with Happy across the top and then underneath, the words Christmas, Hanukkah, Ede, Diwali and one other I can't remember, intertwined so as to reflect the multi-cultural nature of the area.

No denying any religion and the main ones mentioned all in one sign.

A good idea appropriate to the area.

Merry Christmas to one and all!

If it's one thing Northern Europeans are good at, it's finding an excuse to drink too much... even before that religious malarkey got involved.

So Happy Winter Festival of Feasting, Lights and Booze to all. See you on Boxing Day for a bit more of the same.

A happy Christmas to all Blades everywhere, from Kuala Lumpur. If KL can celebrate Christmas, as a mainly Muslim country, then I am damned sure I can. And you winter festival lovers can sod off :)

Are you there in time for Day 1 and have you got that big flag that says "Get Stuffed John Denver" ?

And if you're in touch, tell yankee doodle to check his emails....

Happy Christmas all.

There's a definite downside to getting up before five every day for work. Even when I get the chance of a lie in I'm awake. Still it means I can have some peace and quiet before my 10 year old daughter gets up!
