Really hope he makes it back to his best. Brilliant player.

Good luck to him. Here's to hoping he can still make the England squad.

Not much chance of him making the England squad, to my knowledge he hasn't fucked anyone elses wife or twatted anyone in a nightclub recently

What a player. An absolute Blades all time legend. I met him once and he seemed a thoroughly nice guy.
God bless ya Jags and good luck with the comeback.

Great news. I think if he'd have been fit in the summer he may have got the move to Man City ahead of the useless Lescott. I think he'd have also made the England squad but he is going to leave himself far too much to do. He needs to be playing ASAP and hope to injuries to players who are ahead of him.

Yeah good luck Jags. So glad to see that you've done well for yourself since your handball against Wigan. You remember, when you suddenly thought you were playing in goal and punched the ball. Oh how we still laugh at that today. Thinking about it doesn't half bring a smile to our faces on a damp winters afternoon at Scunthorpe or Plymouth. I suppose you must have a little chuckle to yourself too when you walk out at Old Trafford or The Emirates and recall your befuddlement.

Hey, lucky you had that clause burried deep in your contract allowing you a cheap getaway back to the PL if we were relegated. Who'd have thought it eh? So not only did your hilarious penalty area absent mindedness condem us to another lifetime of the kick and rush, but it also guaranteed you a lush money spinning move to one of the great pretenders. Cuh, y'lucky bugger, I should have got you to pick my lottery numbers that Saturday. Still, no hard feelings eh.....?

Or alternatively, after having the back of his shirt pulled by Lee McCulloch. Which was the second time he was fouled by him in the space of a few minutes as I recall - a push in the back at the other end that was a clear penalty from a corner.

What are you talking about? With a nose like that, it must have been busted in a bar fight at some point...

Nice! So jags was the reason we went down on the last day? I always wondered...

Lets forget he performed heroics in Goal against Arsenal, Scored a cracker against Boro, put in performances week in week out and rarely let anyone down with the exception of the odd lapse (no less or more than anyone else) then we would have been down by a large margin anyway!

If West Ham hadn't cheated, things would have been different

If Liverpool had played their best team v Fulham, things would have been different

If Webber'd slotted the ball into the empty net, things could have been different

And if Jags hadn't put in Player of the season performances then things would have been different

But I guess he should have hung his head in shame forever more and stayed with us until he got us back up and put his own career on hold.

People have VERY short memories, I have absolutely no hard feelings towards him. He is and will be a legend in my mind for a long time to come.

Good lad Jags, some of us appreciated your loyalty and what you did at our club!

Yeah it was on the Everton Website yesterday, but looks like he'll only be on the bench as he isn't match fit
