You could tell they were up for it today from the off, really impressed with the mentality of the side, sometimes FA cup games can be lacklustre with the air of billy big bollox when playing lower division teams.

Really impressed with Sharp and Brewster up top, some smarter decisions by the the midfield and wingbacks would have seen them score more.

The subs showed why Norwood needs to be in the team, I feel he’s getting back to how he was performing last year.

Well done lads!

Norwood is ok given space but he rarely gets that in the Premiership.
Again today he lost the ball in his own half, fouled the player who had taken it off him and got booked

Easy for Norwood to look good against League One opposition as you'd hope he would. Despite getting over the line, there were enough flaws in that performance to show why we get beaten every week by good teams but get by against Plymouth and Bristol Rovers

Our “flaws” are primarily sloppy, unforced errors that keep get punished.

Norwood will be an important player for us in the Championship.. however if we do bounce back we need an upgrade for the Premier League that’s clear from this season.

You wouldnt have guessed we won today, everyone is entitled to their opinion but I thought there would be more positivity on here tonight, think this is the only positive thread ive seen.

Takes time to turn a ship, we arent going to go from zero in 100 in a few games. There was some positive play today, Norwood seemed more confident, Brewster looked good, Enda started to play like his normal self.

Plymouth were a decent passing team today and we bossed them for 80% of the game, im taking as many positives as I can today, UTB.

Decent performance until we changed half of the team.

Usual flaws, a keeper who’s lost it right now, and inability to take enough chances.

Unfortunately, the latter part of games is remembered much more than the earlier part.

...and was blowing out of his arse after 60 mins!!

Why do we piss about all the time, not playing the ball into the box ?
We at least need some runners or movement ,never seems to happen...
🤔

I thought for the first 60 minutes it looked like a team playing someone from two leagues below. We passed the ball around sharply and with purpose and created lots of chances. When we sat back Plymouth came back into it and we gift wrapped them a goal. It was nice to see us press the opposition deep in their own half. Can't agree about Norwood however, he looks like a liability when we are defending.
