Barely a gamble really if he’s still fit. Proven PL player who wants to make the most of his time at the top level. Don’t know if he’d fancy moving up north but it’s better than Cardiff.

Maupay, Robinson and madine (as the more physical option on occasion) at the start of the summer I would have taken it. With mcgoldrick and sharp in the mix. We can only play 2 Up top after all.

It would be more worrying if we don’t land Maupay tbh as then I suspect we’d push harder for mcburnie deal.

Wouldn't want him and I dont think Brighton will let him go. Hes been their most reliable striker, be a bit like us letting Sharp go.
