Glasgow and Paisley supporters club

Hi all. I moved to Paisley from Sheffield last year and I emailed the club about setting up a supporters club in the Glasgow and Paisley area. The club got back in touch with me and said that I needed to get on supporters club websites and see if it is possible to do. So what I am asking from my fellow blades is to share it out and see what sort of numbers their are in the area and hopefully get this up and running. UTB ⚔

In the interests of balance, we should invite our Scottish Blades to tell us which of the English politicians we shouldn't vote for. They'll be spoilt for choice, I reckon.

Ha, small world. It's a no bad wee town the old "Borheed". Well, like I say, consider me interested for anything that gets set up.

Realistically, I reckon I'm gonna try and get to 5 or so Blades games next season.

Once stayed in Barrhead, back in early 70's ( long story..)
Guy we were staying with, Celtic fan, huge family, kids all over house. Took us in the roughest boozer I've ever been in and told us to drink and not talk as none of the locals liked the English... We obeyed...

I am just confused who to vote for in Killie. If I don't want the Stupid National Party to get in do I vote for Citizen Labour or 'on the other bus' Roof Davidson? Alas big Nige is not standing.

Glasgow Blade (Graham - not sure if he posts on here) has been up there since the 80s spreading the Blades gospel. I know many of them follow the Blades as a second team and have been to the Lane over the years.

I'm another Aberdeen Blade. There must be a few up here as I've seen a couple of United shirts knocking about at 5-a-side. I know of at least 3 locals who have been chosen too.

Not sure I'm the sort to be an active member ( ooo er missus) but I'll volunteer to be Honorary Chairman as long as I can wear a chain of office and ring a bell every now and then at committee meetings?

Not sure about specifically the Glasgow area, but I can safely say there's a good few in Scotland. I was up in Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh for around 7 years (moved back 3 years ago), and met a few blades up there. In addition to attending games when back visiting Sheffield I'd occasionally fly down to the London games and on several occasions ended up flying with a few fellow blades. After the Hull game at Wembley there were a good few blades on my Edinburgh flight, as well as chatting to a few flying to Glasgow too. There's blades everywhere so I'm sure you can at least get a Scottish supporters club going.

My dad's from Paisley but I managed to convert him in the 90s. He's been a season ticket holder ever since and still travels up from the south coast of England 1000s of miles every year just for home games.

Not much use for you though.
