After 8 games we should have 24 points, for 20 against 2 that's my prediction and it's as valid as their super computer. 😂
 
Not winning a home game with leeds, wolves, and fulham the first 3. Yeah ok pal.

One only has to look at our record against those weaker teams in the league for evidence that we'll pick up plenty of points.

Wolves I'll take a point, but I reckon we win that one.
Villa I think we go there and win
Leeds - win
Arsenal - defeat
Fulham - win
Liverpool - defeat
City - draw
Chelsea - defeat

13 points from 24 for me there.
 
To be fair, most of those results seem reasonable, apart from Villa beating and keeping a clean sheet against us and failing to beat Fulham at home. I would also hope to beat Wolves given their extended season. So, if you add an extra 5-7 points, that puts us somewhere between 10th and 13th, which would be a good start for me (considering we'll have played 3 of the top 4 from this season).
 
Would you look at that! The top 6 are already the big 6 and the next 2 are the interlopers (Leicester/Wolves).
Edit I also notice those recent serial failures Burnley are 16th. Why don't they just say 'here's a list of my favourite Premier League teams portrayed as a league table?'
 
Should we really be taking these lad bible type sport websites seriously? Look at the rest of the site. Click bait shite everywhere. There’s literally nothing worth reading on there.
 
It's actually getting rather boring the way we keep getting written off. Now it's going to be 'second season syndrome'.
Next up are the pundits who I predict will say, "They over achieved last season but I can't see them doing it again now that other teams know how they play - 20th".... boring, move along, next.
 
Will it be any more accurate than this forecast which I pinned on my wall 12 months ago. I know they say the Gimmesport effort is not to be taken too seriously

Let everyone keep underestimating us, as you say Wilder will use this to help motivate the lads.

I have a feeling that this is going to be a year like no other given everything that has been happening. I don't think the big teams are going to have it all their way this year for once, we could see a few surprises given the schedule is now a lot harder for these pampered primaddonas who have to think about not only the league, but the two domestic cups, Europe and internationals to boot.

I think we are more than capable of pushing on next season and doing even better, this is possibly the best year to target a deep cup run as well, I'd like to see us target one cup and the league, Iean I'd love us to win every game but realistically I think we can target a decent prem finish and a cup.

Looking at the last few games we were very mixed but we still beat Chelsea, Wolves, and Spurs. Our form post lockdown was still good enough to survive comfortably, it just wasn't European form.

I still have that excited trepidation looking at the fixtures and every one seems like a big game. And I still have that feeling that while I wouldn't back us to win any individual fixture I find it hard to believe we won't win any of them. First games, Wolves, Villa, Arsenal are all teams we took points off. Fulham and Leeds are newly promoted and while I won't have the arrogance to say about them what others said about us, there's no reason to think we aren't fully capable of getting results. Liverpool and City back-to-back I'll give you are likely to be 0's.
 
I would expect us to be on at least 7 points before we embark on the so called nightmare run In October.

I nearly agree, but I think we will beat Fulham.

It's not that surprising really, we do have previous in the top flight. The last time we were up here we were down first season, and even under Harry B the time before we were very slow starters, in fact if memory serves didn't we go so far as having the Christmas party early in the hope it would get the team going because results were so bad until the heavy grounds after Christmas ?
