I am far from being a member of the legendary "gerritithebox brigade." But I am starting to think our patient build up play has on average 2 to 3 unecessary passes every time we have the ball.
It dosen't really help the strikers to time their runs when the midfield take so long to get the ball to them.
Too many sideways balls with very little forward penetration into the box, Is allowing opposing defences to keep us at arms length quite comfortably.
