You can occasionally admit that your Oli has been shit though.

I try to be balanced about it but I lost the plot a bit the other night, he did the odd good thing earlier in the game but he was woeful after that.

Stevens was shite as well, but Norwood was bad.

He is having a poor season but is not alone ,and while every mistake he makes gets loads of attention the others get away with it. Thing is Norwood never hides and attempts risky passes which can get us in ,other players like Lundstram just hide , play safe and we get nowhere. When Norwood goes off we create nothing. I do think Wilder has hung him and Berge out to dry a bit with the formation ,we obviously need another body in the middle ,one player just cant intercept ,tackle ,chase back ,drive on and form attacks on his own against the world class players of the premier league.

He’s one of a number who is name checked every time they have a bad game.

I don’t know what’s happened to him but ‘not hiding’ is sometimes not a good thing.

we should have played with 1 striker and dropped mcgoldrick back to midfield to get an extra body in there not much use playing 2 strikers every game if we only have 30% possesion

Hello, Bobbysorearse here, I think us finding scapegoats all the time is self defeating and pointless. Oli will be ok next year, its not his fault that players around aren't doing it either. Last year I was delighted (as many were) that he signed a new contract now look at the 'mob' after him! Pathetic really.
