How do you know he’s telling potential buyers how they should run the club?

This whole ‘McCabe can’t find a buyer’ argument ignores the fact that he has already sold half of the club.

Incidentally would you happy for the Prince to buy the club outright or does he not meet your ‘sell to anyone’ criteria?

He’s sold half the club and he’s now going to the lawyers. If, after all his due diligence in finding ‘the right guy’ he still ends up taking his business partner to court, then I don’t know what he’s trying to achieve.

If Kev wants to sell to the Prince then I have no issue with that. Do you? If you do, how would address your own concern? A shaken fist in the corner of your local? A tweet to Rob Staton? Or sit here and do nowt? I have absolutely no impact or input on what McCabe says or does. As does nobody on here.

But I for one am sick of the guy. He bemoaned bad luck 2 years ago in a forum at Bramall Lane. Then he strikes it lucky with Wilder. Lo and behold he fucks it up.

Bad luck? Do me a favour.

Nope I have no issue with the Prince owning the club providing he’s in it for the right reasons. I wouldn’t want us to just sell to anyone

Why would greed make you want to lose millions of pounds annually?

Because he’s makong money off it somehow isn’t he. The ground rent? Hotel? Academy?

Why else would he hang around if he’s losing millions a year...?

You honestly think he's making money from the club?

He has to be. It’s the only reason I can think as to why someone would hang around a business that’s losing £6/7m a year. Lot of money to piss away.

Or maybe it’s because he’s a fan? That logic stands up. Foot the bill of the debts every year whilst selling anyone worth a toffee crisp, lowering the quality of the side he supports and allowing a situation where the best manager we’ve had in a generation is passed off with the way he runs the club they both support.

No bigger Blade though.

Did you know ? William Bligh was a Lieutenant promoted to acting Captain on the Bounty.

You contradict yourself in the 1st paragraph. Is he making money or losing it?

He says he’s footing the bills - losing it.
I say he can’t be losing it because what kind of businessman willingly loses £6m a year? - making it somewhere (I’m no accountant so can’t see where).

Why would he carry on losing it at such sums?

The kind of buisnessman who invested a great deal of his personal wealth into a passion of his; football.

Football (financially) isn't the same as it once was, and neither is McCabe's wealth, so I suspect he's eager to pass the torch.
However, like all of us, I think he's mindful of the person he sells up to. I'm sure he wants a favourable deal out of it, but I'm also sure he wants a favourable deal for the club too.

One thing is clear though, he's not going to see the vast majority of his investment back: he will make a huge loss for the sake of the football club, and for that; I thank him, despite his numerous mistakes.
