There's a little feature on Sheffield football in the latest edition of FourFourTwo. Supposedly about "Where did it all go wrong" for the two clubs. Has a little bit about the recent derby game at Lane.

I expected it to be a bit meatier in addressing where it "all went wrong" but it was all fairly general stuff. The pigs blame Richards (duh) and our favourite journalist points out that many Blades blame the Tevez affair on our recent downswing (also duh).

It's worth reading just for Lee Strafford's quote about being scared of derby games at BDTBL, though.

ive just read that myself seemed a bit slanted toward the pigs and in particular straffords comments about not taking his kids anywhere near "that place" just made me miss the deluded maniac even more

In what respect? I didn't think that at all. Strafford seemed to be saying that he was SCARED of BDTBL. He said there was no way he'd take his kids near the place. I was quite happy with that comment, tbh.

Whilst I understand what you're saying, I love the idea of people being scared to come to the Lane. And if the pigs want to spread it about that it's a scary place to come - great. It's not been a stronghold for a good few years and we should be looking to put that right. I don't want any visitors - be they managers, chairmen, players or fans - to feel comfortable coming to the Lane.
