Guessing this will be the foreign based player, as it seems we are looking at someone from abroad and its likely a loan as Wilder mentioned two loans and Burke and the two Derby lads are permanent deals. So it could be that youngster from Bayern maybe or the defensive cover in the middle Wilder talked of.

Another question I have is if we're bringing in two forwards then it means that we'll have Sharp, McGoldrick, Mousset, Burke and McBurnie plus another. Something's got to give surely, and that could only be Mousset leaving, if there is one to leave, there's no way McBurnie, Sharp or McGoldrick will go will be sold.

Yeah Teddy, but didn't Widler say he wants two coming in up top, so Burke is one and then there's still one more to come, not sure on whether its loans or not. If its Brewster than that's the other loan of course. I can't see it being Emmanuel Dennis, he's not going to be a loan and could cost £20m ish.

It may be that we have to (and are happy to) accept Moose becoming a game-changing option off the bench who starts occasionally, rather than someone we can rely on to start 20+ games. In which case we do still need another starting-calibre striker. Sharp played over 1,000 minutes last season - as much as I love the guy, that number should probably come down this year.

Wilder has said that although he's happy with the midfield options, one of the players coming in is capable of playing there. As already mentioned Ethan Ampadu fits that and is an "international player".
