New year health kick? Fancy wobbling round the pitch with other unfit Blades? Come and show this old man how to play!

This is in General Blades Chat as it is an open invite to all.

For a few years, a number of us have been intermittently meeting on a Sunday morning to have a friendly, "non-competitive" game of football. It started as a way to keep in touch through the close season and carried on.

All age-ranges and abilities are welcome and the cost of the pitches are shared equally between those playing.

This week we'll be playing at Goals, Norfolk Park Road and the cost will be £2 each, most probably less if we get enough.

So, if anyone is free this coming Sunday morning and fancies a game, this is what you need to know:

Venue: Goals, Norfolk Park Road, Sheffield

Time: 10:00
Cost: Around £2 each - most probably less.
What you need: Trainers or astro-turf boots. No studs. Shinpads optional. A sense of humour.

Guests are welcome.

Please yay or nay for definite by Friday night if possible.

RSVP by replying to this thread!

Non-members can express an interest by email to [email protected]

Should be ok, but can't vouch for Brownie in case he walks near a pub or something any time between now and then.

I have the pattern of the ball panels on my wrist from a save I made from litttlem.

He should learn how to pass it into the net like me!

;)

Bringing a young Dirty with me.

I'll play, so long as Foxy is on my side. I can't face two weeks on the bounce of destroying his pride.

Very admirable attempt at cloaking the true reason you want to be on my side mouse.

I think Raul is bringing a mate down Daz so we've got 9 - 10 with young Ballinpigpubs.
