Normally you would say we won't win the league but this season under wikder/knill you just wouldn't rule it out, definitely can see us winning, Norwich losing against villa ? Quite possible isn't it, enjoy your day to all those going because what ever happens it's a time to celebrate.
 
We were already up against Darlington. Beating them on the day merely confirmed we were champions........

I don’t think worse is the right word to describe it. For me personally if I could pick a specific end to the season we would need a win to be promoted. We would achieve this by scoring in the 92 minute to win 2-1.

You obviously can not make these outcomes happen, so the way it has worked out is just fine with me.

Football games with stuff riding on them are always better though. International friendlies compared to the finals of the the Euro or World Cup for example. This is why I’m happy there is the league title to go for. Checking on our phones to see the villa score will only add to the drama. No matter what I’m bloody looking forward to it UTB

Couldn't disagree more haha

If I had my way we'd have got 108 points by March and have our P and then champagne football our way to the title, pressures off, parties in the stands, silent disco on the Kop while McGoldrick does rainbow flicks over the last man etc.

On top of this, (I'm in my 50s) this could be the biggest thing I've ever seen United win, small steps it is but they are all going forward.

Yeah on the NTT20 betting podcast yesterday one of them had backed Stoke to beat us, saying that we'd be more interested in partying and wouldn't care about the game.

I think he's completely wrong. From the sounds of it all the players want to give themselves the best possible chance of the title, and with the pressure off I think we will simply enjoy our football and play the best we can.
