Both on four Would hate to lose both for Ipswich game
Should we manage this by either
1. Just play one of them against Forest and have the other get booked
2, play both against Forest and if one gets booked immediately take the other off
3 f--ck it just play both and if they both get booked hope we can cope without both against Ipswich

I'd rest Coutts, he's more likely to get booked I think, start Fleck but tell him to be careful and take him off as soon as we can, strong attack with that in mind.

Lundstram to start maybe.

1. No reason to deliberately get booked, unless there's a really meaningless game straight afterwards. There isn't, so we shouldn't
2. Perhaps the most sensible solution.. but it also depends on what time in the game the booking happens. 70th minute? Yeah maybe. 10th minute? No.
3. Wouldn't be surprised if this is what we do. Wilder's always talked about it being a squad game. Sure we would miss both badly but with our fantastic start we can afford to risk a single bad result, at the very least we'll get a real chance to see what our other CMs are made of. Also, if you were Carruthers/Lundstram imagine being given the chance of one game to prove yourself whilst the preferred player is absent through suspension, that is some pretty strong motivation to put in a good performance.

Also, we should never rest a key player in case they 'might' get booked, unless that game is meaningless, but i'd argue no games in this league are such.

If they get booked they get booked, thats football. But don't try and change how they play just incase they get a yellow card

Plough on and if there's a cup game coming up, take a tactical booking. Don't fret over it.

If we only play one against Forest how does the other one get booked? o_O UTB

As CW says about injuries, these things happen it is how you deal with them that is important. We have the depth in the team to cope without both. Have some faith in your back up players. They have been schooled in the Wilder way.

Ideally don't want cards today going into the international break, you want to take them when you've got a midweek game where you might rotate to keep people fresh anyway

Might be sacrilegious to say it but Coutts booking against Norwich was unnecessary and petulant. He’s entitled to more than one mistake given the rock and genius that he’s proving to be.

CW should get rid in January

Do the bookings get wiped off eventually, if you don't get anymore? Or did the FA ditch that?
