Our public transport is good but expensive.
I used the tram in Sheffield from the station and back and that was good.

It’s a shame you choose probably the least entertaining match I’ve seen at the Lane this season.
Wednesday came for a 0-0 and to be fair stifled us well. Our most creative player Duffy was marked out of the game.
Also agree it’s a shame we didn’t score, it would have been bedlam and a great atmosphere.

How bad is public transport in Denmark if you consider ours to be good?

I was at the 51 stop on Shoreham Street after the game waiting (in vain) for a bus back to Lodge Moor. The game (Sheffield 'derby' 12/1/17) ended at 21.30. By 22.45, not a sign of a 51 and the traffic had long-since cleared. Finally a 51 (an 'X1 Link', I think it referred to the driver being the missing link) emerged from Charlotte Road. Hurray! Except it said 'City Centre'. We were dumped outside the Lyceum to join many theatre-goers etc. who'd shared our own miserable experience. WHY? I finally got home at 23.40.

Sheffield Council are trying hard to promote the night-time economy ('Home time? Own time.' etc.) but it's doomed to fail with this pathetic excuse for a bus 'service'. Trouble is, the 51 to Crosspool has no competition (Stagecoach goes nowhere near), so First don't give a fuck.

I've sent two e-mails to their 'We value your feedback' bit on their website. Never even got an acknowledgement.

Welcome aboard, torben and I hope you return to Sheffield soon. Just don't bother with our buses.

Fantastic first message, welcome! Having being to Danmark as a kid I'm amazed you rated our public transport! Anyway great to hear of people from other countries coming to see United and pleased you enjoyed it. It wasn't the best of games thanks to Wednesday's tactics but they've only spent 30 million on that team and probably need another 30 million to put it right! Ha ha!!
