I thought the first goal last night was one of the best I've ever seen us score: the challenge to win the ball, the quick thinking short pass, the long pass, the run, and the first time finish were all top quality. A great goal.

It's up on the YouTube channel but can't post the link from my phone.

We've scored some very good goals, but that really was one of the very best.

We've played some great passing stuff at times under Clough, with a few decent goals at the end of it...this one was a bit special...

Thought the second was a lovely move too. Lots of short passing down the left in amongst a tight area, good movement, then the ball out to Brayford had him in acres of space. He had options and you'd probably say not to shoot from there, but its brayford, he has a knack of just hitting them right from that distance and cause problems. It was a real error from the keeper, but if you hit them from there, stick plenty of power on it and hit the target, then you never know.

The finish from McNulty on the first was special. Quality strike.

Just as an aside, i've noticed recently with the link up between Harris and Murphy, sides are starting to double up defenders on Murphy and crowd out the left side. by doing this it opens up the right as the teams are unbalanced. I'm sure Bergen Blade will have some good analysis on this but i don't think its an accident that Clough sets us up to attack down the left like we do. Moving Done out right against Notts County gave them additional problems as they had to drag men over to the right to counter Brayford/Done and later on Brayford/Freeman and opened the left side again. Good to see

Learning of Done then.

Could be anything Mcnulty.

I've watched it a few times and it looks to beat the keeper at the near post but ends up in the far corner.

Exactly, it's what makes Harris and Brayford so vital in our attacking moves. We have to sort Harris' contract because in Harris and Brayford, we have the best L and R backs in the division and it will, I dare say, be as good as anything in the Championship too.

Similar to Murphy's at Notts County, wouldn't you say?

Just looked back at Murphy's Notts goal, great finish and similar, yes, but I think the way McNulty has to move his body across to the other side of the ball and adjust his feet before striking just edge it for me...and the great pass form Harris....
