Great thread that. Some highlights :
Seems Wilder's actually a very astute football man, I just can't understand it at all, he's a lower league manager and doesn't even sound classy in his interviews
But where do we find our Wilder? There isn't one out there

I was very jealous of United yesterday. They were hungrier for it and had a manager who knew what the game meant more than ours did. His passion will do them well this season.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm actually going to say it - they look worthy contenders for promotion. Eekkk...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hard to say isn't it...I've thought the same since before the season started, now, maybe even top two....Wilder is the perfect fit for them, McCabe landed on his feet...for once.

This is part of our problem.
It was not just the 'pashun', they were actually better footballers on the day.
All season our big gob fans have been writing them off as a 'third division pub team' but they taught us a lesson yesterday.
They did not win due to 'passion' a dodgy ref or 4 flukey goals.
They were BY FAR the better team and if some people on here can't admit that, they are kidding themselves that a magic injection of 'passion' will suddenly make everything in the Wednesday garden rosy
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I made a point a few weeks ago. Wilder acts as a force multiplier; his team is better than the sum of its parts. Carlos seems to do the opposite.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wilder did a hell of a lot more than win the game through passion.
Every single one of his players knows exactly what to do in every situation. They had a plan for everything. They were so organised and utilised every ounce of quality they have in that team.
They are a proper team unit who all know their jobs and how to achieve success.
We on the other hand are totally clueless, one dimensional chaos. People talk about no plan B but I'm struggling to find plan A most of the time.
They won because they are a better team than us. A squad of talented individuals will always struggle against a good team.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair Wilder had more than 'passion'. They didn't beat us by steaming into tackles, they played well. Their players have been coached to be better players than they were before they joined united.

Passion, as we remember it against Colin, wasn't part of Utd yesterday. They didn't kick, time waste, dive and all the other tricks he pulls. They were prepared, as a team. They all worked for one another and knew what they had to do. Udders did the same last season,Leicester did it in the Prem.
I can't remember the last time (at home anyway) we played for 90 minutes.
