"Starting from the Doncaster game on Saturday 3rd October, the Blades will be throwing open the doors of Legends of the Lane as an ‘Enjoy the Match’ area for youngsters and their parents.
Bramall Lane’s “Safe N Ground” family lounge will be open from 1pm and is FREE OF CHARGE to enter (adults will not be admitted without children, maximum of 2 adults per child).
Children can take part in a host of activities including table football tournaments and quizzes. Great prizes will be on offer from winning match tickets to taking part in a half-time penalty shoot-out on the pitch.
Children will get the chance to become a sports journalist, interviewing a Sheffield United Player and creating their own newspaper article.
Other activities will also be available including a cut and paste area to create your own SUFC collage, Playstation 2 games, the chance to lift the FA Cup, like the FA Cup winners of 1925 and the opportunity to learn more about the history of Sheffield United FC.
Food and drink will be available to purchase, so parents can sit back, relax and watch the live lunchtime football match on Sky Sports.
Only 50 places are available, and entry will be on a first come first served basis."
Sounds like a good idea. Anyone know if "food and drink" includes beer?
