I heard from a reliable source that when Pope signed for the Millers who were playing at Don Valley at that time, they were however training at Doncasters 'All Weather & indoor' training facilities, as well as the 'Outside & rough' ones at Hooton Roberts. When the players were instructed to turn up at the training ground to get on the bus to take them to their first away fixture. Old Popey turned up at The Keepmoat, on a day when Donny were at home, the Millers bus had to go and collect him. Needless to say his nickname at the Millers from that moment in time was "Dopey-Popey !!"

I can see Done leaving too because we currently have Done McNulty and Sharp for the smaller guy to play of a bigger guy, either Adams, DCL or a new target man like Clarke. Of course if DCL doesn't leave we'd then have 3 guys also competing for the target man role too, which seemed top heavy.Which all points to players leaving and Wilder covering for those likely departures. I think we can all see that Adams and DCL will be targeted as they have been already. If Adams does well till Christmas you know our board will cash in and then say, "you can't stop someone moving up the leagues can you"!? Well actually for 6 months yes you can! Smaller clubs than us do it, but not us!
