I remember listening to Shearer and Lineker and all their clique crew banging on about how it was 'great professionalism' from a certain premiership player after he had got into the opposition box felt the slightest touch of a blade of grass on his boot, and had fallen over with a ridiculously fantastic Swan like dive to get his team a penalty.
'Great professionalism'.... no yout great puddings it is cheating pure and simple. The lad should have been booked or even given a straight red for cheating if the ref had seen it as he should have done (the dive was ridiculous and should have given the ref a serious clue). If all followed that course of action then it wouldn't take long for it to be stamped out.
But what chance do you have when you have the MOTD self proclaimed 'experts' basically advocating blatant cheating?
I see they have now changed their tune and Shearer and Lineker were recently on the box looking all sombre with frowns as they told the watching masses 'no one wants to see cheating...' Prize prats they are. Cheating is cheating and penalties used to be awarded when the attacking lad was clearly being 'impeded' not when he has has contact with a worm.
More ill thought out enhancements to the game by FIFA which has made the game more farcial. Still no doubt it keeps some self importantant egotist on the money train, in a job at FIFA.
