FA Cup, 12 noon on a Sunday? Wank!
Dont know how many people are aware but if you have a BT Internet package at home and Sky TV package you can simply call up BT and they will put BT Sports onto your Sky Box for you free of charge for a year. You just call them up and ask for it and they ask for your Sky Viewing card number and bobs your uncle.....completely free of charge for this season.
It is 4 weeks between the 1st and 2 round so there is plenty of time. You tend to know these things- what's the crack if Bury and Cambridge draw their first match? Can they replay in time for us to still play on the 8th?
They play the first game on the 19th and Bury have a league game on the 26th.
Why choose this game? They must be thinking:
Cambridge win - possible banana skin
Bury win - Blackwell against his former club.
Oh hang on a minute...
How is Bury V Blades in any way an appetite whetter?
Yeah done that.
Although it does just apply to one Sky Box though so if you have multi room you are a bit screwed. You have to choose the box you would most like it on and grab the viewing card from that.
Simple enough that one though mate surely? Has to be in the living room does it not in front of your favourite armchair with the wireless at the side of you on the same side table that you use to hold your beer?. Surely i'm not the only one with this set up?
Ah true but one is rather greedy and would like the freedom to have BT Sport on more than one box. Especially since there is a premium to pay for having multiroom as it is.
I have Sky broadband so i can't get it. I'm certainly not switching to BT broadband, they can bollocks.
Dunno if they still do, but they used to restrict your broadband usage. My sky broadband and phone is only £25 a month with no usage limits. BT can feck off.
Actually i just looked, their 10gb limit a month (which i'd probably use up in a day) broadband and phone is £25.45. But they do now have an unlimited one which is £31.45. Still more than i'm paying now though. Not paying £6 odd more every month just to watch one match. Plus, i hate BT after my previous dealings with them so knackers to em.
