Just little shits having fun. I’m sure fans of ours have done the same.

Don’t mind players having a night out, but if I was gaffer I’d tell them to Taxi to Leeds and Manchester and avoid going out in the city they play in. Just a target for drunken cunts. Including some of our fans in this.

Used to see loads of ours out after match day under Robson. Felt it was a bit stupid. Especially as we were playing shite most week.

Fair play really, it's exactly what I'd expect to happen whether a Blade lad with Wednesday fans or vice versa

Quite well natured really, I imagine some people can proper arseholes, trying to escalate things etc

I’m not going to watch it but I’m guessing it’s that thing where fans of rival team trick a footballer into appearing in their video while saying something moronic like “WAWAW”.

Jeremy Beadle would be turning in his grave.

While not Blades related, people doing stuff like this for views is ridiculous, especially when you make yourself look like a proper twat in the process.

Players shouldn't be daft to have nights out in Sheffield. Asking for trouble imo. Just takes one bellend to have a swing.

No harm with a night out in the city you live in. It’s happened for years and incidents with players are extremely rare. Keeps the players grounded to be mixing with fans of both clubs and reminds them of the rivalry.

We want players to be grounded and relatable but we don’t want them to live their lives in the city.

What perimeter would you suggest for them? Would chesterfield be ok? Or perhaps Manchester/ Leeds?

Outside of Sheffield, but a city. Preferably, not at all outside of summer.

Villa used to go to the Leadmill many moons ago. You can't avoid people noticing you but half the people in those bars and clubs are either going to support the team you play for or their main rival. I doubt that makes a good night for the player. You probably get more hassle from drunk fans of your own club.

Carry on silly young boys , when the derby comes along on the pitch is where you’ll see he gets his retribution !
Yeah exactly. Love it. I ended up drinking with the Scottish ex pig that went to Lincoln City and his mates a few years back, ended up having a discussion about Fleck obviously being better than his mate Bannan. A few drinks later he FaceTimed Bannan (in his hotel room the night before an away game) and I got to tell him myself that Fleck was better than him 😂

As I say, the risk is very low and I think most people are respectful. Pecks a very nice lad and has always been friendly. I certainly think it can be as positive for players to socialise in the city and I’m sure they take the rough with the smooth when they go out.

Some nice boozers out Tideswell way. Is the Three Stags Heads still a thing? I'd recommend that if it is.

Players whoever they play for should be able to drink where they want.

But town is full of bellends who think they’re ten men when they’ve had a shandy.

Here’s a revolutionary idea for people like that. Don’t be a cunt, it’s stunningly easy

Was at a wedding last night and Darius Henderson was in the bar after. I think it was his local. If that had gone off with him he would probably have separated the young antagonist’s head from his shoulders.
He would also get sent off and get a 3 match ban. He’s still a fucking unit.
