SUPPORTERS planning on attending Sunday’s FA Cup third round match against Sheffield United should be aware that there are a number of planned engineering works on Underground and Overground services.
Engineering works are taking place on the Central Line between Marble Arch and Holborn and as a result Transport for London recommends the following:
- Supporters travelling from north London or to/from national rail termini along the top of the circle (King’s Cross, Euston, St Pancras International, Liverpool Street and Paddington) should use Hammersmith and City line services to Wood Lane or Shepherd’s Bush Market (this includes away supporters travelling by rail from Sheffield into London St Pancras).
- Supporters travelling from south London or to/from national rail termini along the bottom of the circle (Victoria, Charing Cross, Waterloo, London Bridge, Cannon Street or Fenchurch Street) should use District line services to Hammersmith and change for the Hammersmith and City line to Wood Lane or Shepherd’s Bush Market
- Supporters travelling from west London should use normal routes (i.e. Central line to White City or Shepherd’s Bush)
- No service between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction (no service either northbound or southbound from Shepherd’s Bush)
