He's just a good all round wide player, footballer and athlete with a good attitude and work rate.

His deliveries are consistently good and that's what's made him stand out most over the years. From open play and set pieces.

He had one fairly lengthy injury which is maybe why he's not as prominent at Championship level anymore but he seems to have had a long spell injury free now.

He's versatile too, primarily a right winger but as Bergen pointed out can play RWB, and that's where he'd fit in our team. Can also play centrally so he'd cover Duffy too - and that's what I want - one player like him who can cover more than one position. It would make recruitment less demanding whilst possibly freeing up space for a big signing.

Clubs as shambolic as Blackburn and QPR must have plenty of squandered talent knocking about. So long as their wages aren't too crazy, you'd think that's the right sort of place to look for a club in our position.

Just asked Alan Nixon if he has heard anything about it, he said it's his story, and that figures could be a problem signing him, he's usually very reliable and its understandable that we are after him because he played under Alan Knill twice on loan when he managed Bury so i reckon Knill would want us to sign him. Wages could be a problem but he has already dropped on his wage a few times so he might not be on a wage as high as it used to be.
