The EFL Trophy includes teams from Cat 1 Academies. Our Academy is Cat 2, that is we play "Division 3" Academy football. Unless the rules change, we will not play in the EFL Trophy.

Well they could if there were any u23 competitions for them to play in, but there aren't.
