Don’t think it has a supporters club from there. The social club just stuck with the name from the original steel workers who founded it in the 30s but never heard of a supporters club from there. Was in it many moons ago and not a Blade in sight.

I've been in - a long time ago. And I was refused entry once - a long time ago.

Here it is. I don't think there's an active supporters club in Belfast but I'd imagine that we have a few passive followers in this place.

When United played Linfield in 1996, we were taken over there by a Linfield fan. He didn't feel safe drinking in "Loyalist" East Belfast. As he was from "Loyalist" South Belfast. On that occasion, the main football memorabilia in the Club was from Glentoran, Rangers & Liverpool.

We tried to get in in 2005, after Ireland had played Yorkshire at Stormont. We rang the Buzzer as per. Matey eventually opened the door. But, we were refused entry because one of our party was clearly of "the wrong persuasion".

I mean - she was female. At that time, 2005, in the fucking UK, it was Men Only.

We vowed never to go back again. And, despite United playing at Linfield in 2017, we haven't.

There is no supporters club based there as far as I am aware.

It's still open, was no women allowed no supporters club being run out of there.
Sean Bean used it a few times whilst on GOT set.

Thanks all, it was indeed just the physical location I was after to take a dander rather than needing a SC for socialising. BangorBlade coincidentally enough I headed down after watching Bangor at Dundela. They're still rolling out the Sean Bean stories down there.
And the no women rule still applies!

I’m guessing the Minnesota Blades started after a mix up over which Prince was buying a share in the club.

The boards have come down off the gym windows and the 3G seems to have been relaid. Also looks like they are putting a tennis court or something at the back.

Looks smarter anyway.
