Alright Blades,
I'm at work, in Harrogate, and a few of us got to talking about old footy track/shell suits, and no one has a clue what i'm on about when i refer to dry-shell... Have i made this up? Is this term only used in The Dronx (Dronfield) or is this a Sheffield thing? I'm getting odd looks off folk from Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate, Halifax and Manchester. If it helps i was referring to the Umbro one, from 90-92. For me, any track/shell suit that has that kind of mat finish is 'dry'. them that if you skid in them melt...
