He gets a couple of mentions in CWs presser today. He's in charge of our medical department, was with CW at Middlesbrough and has loads of experience including working at Chelsea, Leicester and Derby.
If he can improve on our injury record he could prove to be an important signing.
He oversaw my treatment when he was Chief Medical Officer at UK Athletics and based at the Thornbury.

Knows his onions and is a top bloke and one of the leading minds in UK sports medicine....

Dr Crippen could probably improve our injury record.

I used to play Sunday league against him many moons ago. He played at the Sportsman at Lodge Moor. He was pointed out to me by a mate when we saw him on the bench at Chelsea, obviously in his medical capacity. I take it he hails from Sheffield.

Sheffield uni and then worked with Steelers and Sharks, very much a Sheffield guy

A top appointment given our shocking injury list over recent seasons. Fingers crossed he can help keep players fit or improve recovery time this season.

Who was the guys who warnock said was a magician with his Alsatian’s bad back? Feel like our physios down the years might hav been better with animals than footballers. Could be an interesting alternate revenue stream for the blades 😂

Mike England, ex-Spurs and Wales centre half, says hi.

I remember a Charles Buchan Football Monthly edition in the early 60's doing a feature on Mike England. Headline read ....

Michael - so Irish. England - so English. Yet in fact Mike England made his Welsh debut against Ireland.

(Strange the things you recall at 3.00 in the morning.)
