nothing will change on Saturday

Adkins will still be in charge of that useless set of bastards, Cunts like Hammond and Coutts will still get picked - we'll get beat - Adkins will spout the same Bollox - we won't bin off the crap in the summer as we'll all get blamed for not renewing.

Next year we'll be in a relegation scrap.

Unless a dream team style ending occurs to these lot tonight

Already talking about next year? I'm still thinking about this season and saying thanks to Southend for putting us out of our misery.

Bottom half tonight after a 3-1 defeat to a side who were in L2 last season. The other 2 sides from L2 last season are way above us.

Adkins has brought in Sharp (great signing) and then Hammond, Sammon and Woolford who, along with Coutts, should never play for us again.

This Board is constantly behind the curve. They sacked Warnock because they wanted a "Hollywood" name. They sacked Wilson because sacking a manager when in a playoff position worked for the Pigs the year before. They sacked Clough (OK I wanted him out too) after he delivered a playoff spot and narrowly got edged out 7-6 on aggregate. They will now stick with Adkins because we're getting known as a sacking club - as if that matters!

With Sammon/Hammond/Woolford as his star acquisitions and with spectacular scouting input from his buddy, this guy seems to have his future nailed on for next season at BDTBL and my huge concern is that most of his signings will come in on 2-3 year deals, so if we get flooded with Woolfords and Sammons we will be fucked for 3 more seasons! Adams will attract money and so will Sharp/Brayford so we'll be at the mercy of Nigel's staggeringly inept recruitment policy.

I genuinely fear for us next season under Adkins and I was overjoyed when we signed him. WTFDIK?

Can't see anything changing any time soon.

I said it a couple of weeks back at Millwall, and that was this is the worst team I have seen in 30 odd years of being a blade. Just absolutely fucking awful.

It is time to turn the heat up on the players, got fuck all to play for, time to treat them with the same contempt they hold us in.

LS26 - what makes you think McCabe will pick a better manager? Do you think he'll get it right next time ?

Not saying we keep Adkins for that reason but surely only one man is to blame for the state we're in. We need to target McCabe once and for all. Do all we can to force him away from the lane he's not wanted here and now is the time we have to get the message across.

How can he justify his position here. If he was a manager we'd have called for his head years ago. He's driven this club into the dark ages. We're 5 years from the championship never mind Europe. 6th season in the 3rd division and he's untouchable. Crazy.

To be honest Mcabe is to blame for our demise what a fuck up of a club we are.

100 million this has cost

Are you blaming the budget and the management choices then? I think most would agree Adkins was a popular choice - I don't know the answer to how we continue to fail in a league of teams with a fraction of our budget, following and facilities but I really don't think it because money hasn't been thrown at it - managers and players need to take responsibility for their choices, decisions and performances.

The vocal outcry for Adkins to go is gaining momentum as it was with clough Wilson Wier Blackwell Adams etc etc it just frustrates me we're not as vocal about McCabe. It's time to focuss attention in the man who has got him in this mess.

We're in a far worse position now than when McCabe took over. He needs to go and that's more crucial to our future than getting rid of the manager. I have zero faith in him replacing Adkins with anyone better.

The one constant in our decline as a club is Kevin McCabe. He's had a good go and yes money has been spent but he's done a very poor job at it and failed miserably. Poor manager choices, sanctioning player sales, poor budgets given to managers, that's just the playing side god knows what we SUFC actually own is the ground even ours??? You have the shocking communication down the years with fans/customers. The buck stops with the man at the top. If he was a top man or CEO at tesco, RBS or blue chip organisation FTSE 100 company or even the small transport company I work for he would have have been fired for constantly making poor decisions and for years of repeated failure.

He must read some of these forums or listen to phone ins and thinks haha the stupid fuckers are blaming yet another one.

McCabe made the same managerial appointments that many if not most Blades fans would have opted for.

I'm not saying he's without fault, but he's brought in the best managers we could have hoped to have got (on paper). It hasn't worked out with any of them, but don't forget they were all popular choices with the fans - even Weir and Robson.

Had enough of Adkins and this lot

You were also happy with the appointment of Adkins like many of us! There's a deeper reason the management team and players are out of sync and it's not because we sold Murphy or big H - Mcabe is not responsible for our failure to be in the top 2 or 6 in this poor league! If you got your wish and he was sacked who do you think take the losses that are currently absorbed? My guess is the club would just a accrue a huge debt taking us even further backwards.

I did want Adkins and not calling for him to go. I'm calling for McCabe to go. The club is running at losses for a reason and that's him.

We were happy with Wier at the time because of the other shit names linked to the job. having had the mighty Micky Adams and Danny Wilson previously It was a more romantic appointment due to how the man came across in the media and having had a successful career with Rangers and Everton at the top level, but a total toss of the coin appointment.

Robson should have never been appointed it was a brand excercise, no sane football man would have said he was the best man to get us up from the championship. But a few big names like Beattie coming got fans a bit giddy and then reality kicked in.

The universally popular one was Adkins. A clear majority and clear to see why with his record in league one. Has he become a bad manager over night? For me this season has proven what a poorly run club we are again under KM. We sold our best player after the season started for third season on the spin (did it not sink in to KM that this may have been a reason for past failures so not to sanction again) and the board never backed the manager with a replacement or any permenant signings in January despite a cup run and the Murphy sale money. theyll get away with it though the blame will lay with Adkins and the fans for him being our choice and we'll start the process again in the summer when we sack Adkins. Happy days

maybe not in the table, as yet, but there's a good chance Bury and Shrewsbury will have both done the double over us come the end of the season.
