Today I thought they played well. Created any number of decent chances in the first half: Reed 1v1, free header for Done, and others.

But the defence was so fragile, and their goal was primitive. That's one problem.

Second half Holt had two very good chances, Brayford took an air shot from 8 or 10 yards out.

Davies fitted in well with our play, unsurprisingly winning more in the air than Done against big centre halves. Worked a very good shooting chance.

It's not all bad.

Get secure at the back and we could even go up!

Centre backs the problem , but disagree . That was not good enough .

Decent chances , yes , but players do not seem to want to take any responsibility . Thought Davies was good today.

At times Jay and Bash have played well at centre back but we have still conceded too many goals. Perhaps Nigel can explain why we have decided to base part of our promotion push on playing two players out of position in two such vital areas, especially when we had two specialists in those positions. With Tel now out the centre back situation is now becoming a farce. With Dingles breathing down our necks and Peterboro' now putting a run together, can now see the season petering out to a mid-table finish, which quite frankly is probably just about what we deserve.

The problem is with Clough and his transfer business. The centre half situation is farcical considering how many players he's brought in. We're just small and flimsy and he doesn't seem to be able to get the best, or consistency, out of players.
