Dire online ordering experience

All advertisments are hidden for logged in members, why not log in/register?

Took 45 mins today for a simple merchandise order. They were declining my card , three times, before eventually they accepted it.
The promised confirmation email never arrived. Just what is the problem?
 



I heard of something similar happening recently (can't remember who with) whereby the company then took the money four times. You might want to check your bank balance!
 
It happened to me a few years,ago with 3, the phone company. Tried a,topup 20 times, card rejected. Only to have 300 quid ripped from my bank account!! Have checked and united haven't done that.
 
I had the same, tried to click on the item on the homepage, kept redirecting me to the homepage. Searched for the item using the search function and the name of the item on the homepage, no results. Tried one word of said item, found other but not the one on the homepage.

I had to go to the email, click on the hyperlink in the email to go to the item on the webpage (so it does actually exist). Ordered the item but got no confirmation email.

I got an email today confirming delivery. The header of the HTML email was a banner sporting Npower League One. So only a few years old at least...
