Maybe it's because I've been away a few times recently or maybe I just missed it but can anyone tell me what is happening regarding, Sitwell's all-time favourite player, Baxters positive drug test?

The last I heard, he'd protested his innocence and it was awaiting the outcome of the second sample (I think that's right but will stand corrected).

Like Hull and Livermore I think we are just waiting to find out the results of that second sample and the length of his inevitable ban.

Inevitable probably, but I'd be surprised if he isn't allowed to play by the end of October more likely to be the end of August.

Slap on the wrist for an out of competition transgression of a substance considered to be banned but not performance enhancing.
I'm going for either 3 month ban, starting from around the 5th May, or at most 6 months if they are making an example.

Strange dat. Because application for a 'B Sample' is pretty straightforward and takes the armed forces about three to four weeks to request a test and get the result to boot your sorry arse out into civvy street.

I know this not because I was a recipient of this but because I was a Divisional Officer in one or two dickheaded drug-related discharges.

What suprises me is how something like this has literally vanished from all media sources. Money must talk because surely the papers and t.v would keep this story going on forever or atleast until it was conclusive what was going to happen, all this while nothing else was happening?

I hope he's found not guilty as it's my favourite beetroot
