I sit hear now, 15 minutes into the 2nd half, as bored and lifeless as I've ever been. Cohesion? Spirit? Courage? Inspiration? All traits you hope to see in your team in difficult times but sadly I haven't seen a glimmer of any of that. What is more hard to take is the body language from the United dugout; Players are warming up with their heads down, Carsley is doing his best Baby Seal impression by pitifuly clapping every United players movement and most importantly David Weir is stood uninspiringly with his hands in his pockets exuding as much animation as a cardboard cutout (the only time he does motion is when a decision goes against us).

In his programme notes he talks about "building something the crowd can be proud of" yet to the dismay of Pinchy, we've hoofed hopeless balls all game.

Actually we've just equalised but even still it's papering over the cracks. We have unfit players, no leadership in the team and no character. As patient as I am, he has to go.

You aren't lapping up the change of ethos then?

Sat on the South Stand last night, I thought for the first time we really look like relegation candidates. The bottom line with Weir is he is completely inflexible in tactics and style. we're looking seriously unfit after only a quarter of the season done.

It's fucking garbage and the guy is clueless I'm sorry. We need someone who has managed at this level, with passion and the capability to play passing attacking football with width and tempo. Weir has been a disaster.

Interesting that in the post match interview the Crawley manager said he thought we were a very good team, with good players and will finish much higher up the league table come the end.

We do appear to have a better squad on paper than last year but something is missing? Is it to much to ask new players with a new system to gel within half a dozen games? Should we be winning anyway given the so called poor opposition?

I have not been to a match this season so cannot comment. Thinking of making the effort to go next Sunday to see for myself.
