Has anyone else noticed how awful the commentating is?
In particular when he just stops commentating completely as tudgay balloons that one over the bar, and opts to make a funny noise instead.

Yeh I noticed how bad the commentary was, particularly for our third goal, it takes him ages to realise the balls gone in the back of the net!

It's Tony Gubba btw.

He also goes on about a 'hand across the back' from Henderson on Buxton for the og - suggesting it was a foul - even though it looks nothing like a foul, and it's obvious Buxton is pulling Henderson's shirt.

The thing that strikes me is that the BBC had obviously searched hard for a Wednesday chance after they got their second, and the best they could come up with was a mis-hit long-shot a mile wide. Someone said to me today that the last 15 minutes must have been nerve-wracking. Thinking back, in all honesty, they weren't. Wednesday never looked like scoring an equaliser and I can't remember a single heart-in-mouth moment. I also thought it was odd that Wednesday's fans went very quiet after their second. You'd have thought that would be the time they'd get right behind them.

I was also thinking they wouldn't equalise, I fact I was sure we would get another and finish it off. I think we held our nerve well the last 10 mins.

After they scored their second I was very nervous and time seemed to pass very slowly. But strangely, when we got into the last 10 minutes began to feel more relaxed - probably because by then Wednesday were not anything like as threatening as they had been for the first 25 minutes of the second half. In fact, at that stage I thought we were looking the more likely side to score.

As you say, the 5 minutes added on time seemed to pass very quickly and without trauma.

Absolutley, it's exactly the sort of commentry that occurs when one knows exactly what is going to happen. Because he did.

It may well have been dubbed on afterwards, but for what it's worth Gubba was commentating on the game live - he was the commentator on the international feed.
