"Say we want to win the game, say we want to win the game (but if we don't win the game, then don't worry it's OK)"

"We're the Red & White Inclusivepeople"

"Sheffield United, Sheffield United FC. We're by far the most well mannered team, the world has ever seen"

"If I had the wings of a Sparrow, and the graceful derriere of a Crow, I'd fly over Hillsborough tomorrow, to be kind first and just say hello, hello"

Sounds like a list of MLS chants

Crap chant but I work with 2 Derby fans who have messaged me straight away and are as upset as us about the chant. We talked about the match after and they were thought they did enough for a point.
Let's not tar them all with the same brush.

I'm reacting to the insipid tone of the twonk I quoted who brought up the notion of calling out and the dark ages. I respect the right of you jebs to try and impose your fashionable puritanism on the rest of us but you have to accept the right of others to point out the crass logic and hyperbole of your statements.

Be definition given the song is sung by just about every league club and many non-league clubs it is indeed 'normal'. And personally I see no problem in shagging women, or is that now also suspicious in the world of male progressives telling us what women want?

NO taking a fucking song and been offended by it is why the world is going soft.. Fucking murder is something totally different so don't be a disrespectful dickhead an bring somebody else's tragic life destroying incident into a debate for likes.. Fuck you

I don't get why you're trivialising it because it's in song form. If I walked into your local pub and started shouting across the bar that you're a paedophilie, sex offender, rapist... would you be alright with that? What about if I walked in with a group of my mates singing it? Any better?
I'm guessing by your want for the world to be a bit rougher you wouldn't. You'd probably offer me outside and want a scrap, does this look like progress to you?

Also, "... shag your women and drink your beer." How comfortable would you be singing that next to your young daughter? Your wife, sister or Mother? If you've been raised properly you wouldn't feel right. That's why it's wrong. A bunch of beered up blokes chanting en masse about "shagging women" is pretty embarrassing anyway. You're there to watch the football.

What's wrong with shagging women?

Nothing. I'm great at it....... obviously.

But singing about it with your mates? Weird. Singing about it in front of women and children. Even weirder and offensive.
The encouraging thing is, that these conversations are happening, the song has been sung for years but only now being called out on here extensively (to my knowledge). My daughter (18) and daughter in law (21) are embarrassed and uncomfortable when it's sung, but at least the majority on here are aware of the inappropriate nature of the lyrics. But will the club do anything to stop fans feeling like this?

I'm uncomfortable and embarrassed when 'United! United!....' is chanted because, as is evident on here, we're anything but.

I've got to be honest I used to sing " you're going home in a Yorkshire ambulance" in the eighties but I probably wouldn't now.

Is that the Stephen Quinn song? It was the 'wanting ginger hair too' part that I found outrageous.
Quinn just scored against Wendy and gave the Wendy fans what billy gave the derby fans last week , must have been giving him some lol

I thought ched played for Preston 🤔 didn't they play Blackpool not Derby, anyway that song is fucking sick no matter who sings it,I knew a lad a very quiet lad who got branded a nonce and he killed himself and these kind of songs are bang out of order
