I’m not sure about Neal because physically he probably has what it takes to be training with the first team (big lad good engine) the fact he’s not makes me wonder if he’s not held in the same regard as others that are the same age.
I wonder if he’ll transition backwards into centrehalf during his career as he sometimes seems a bit clunky in possession to me although that could just be his running style. Plus competition in midfield is ridiculously high in the academy sides at the moment.

I still think we couldn’t find a better person for the job. In the long term he could have as much influence on the club’s direction as the first team managers.
