He was expected to break into the Chelsea team at one point, but failed. That does however show he has potential. Apparently (from Foxy and Linz's reports) he looked shit hot for the reserves towards the end of last season. Not sure how he did when he featured in the last few games. I would expect him to be pushing for a place next year. Apparently he can play in midfield (in fact some Chelsea reserve/youth team watchers think he is better there) as well as up front, which gives us extra options when the inevitable Quinn, Monty, Hendo and Boggy transfers go through.
Good singing imo. Costs nothing and I doubt he is earning a lot. Plus a young, talented hungry player should be able to perfrom well in the 3rd division. Shows we are looking to the future (or McCabe is speculating and ensuring we command a fee for him at some point).
