The old chestnut of the lack of crowds being a major contributor to our poor performances is coming up again and again.
I’ll give you another view, if BDTBL had been packed to the rafters and Wilder had served up the tactical shite we have had to endure since lockdown one, the place would have erupted. Lunny would have been booed off the park and CW would have had to revert to the tactics we had last season. That, for me, is the biggest consequence of the lack of fans, I truly don’t believe the other view that, somehow, with fans in the ground, we would be winning matches playing the way we have set up.
