Credit crunch

So Blackwell says there’s a credit crunch he right there is!
Isn’t this when the fans need there club to be doing well to help them forget there troubles?
Were not a selling club!
But we’ve sold more than we have bought in?
It was good business to sell tongy “I cant stand in a players way if a big club comes don’t want unhappy players”?
What with no replacement? So with a diminished midfield, things not going well how many happy players will we have if this goes on? That implies if beattie killer sharpy or any other player that catches a prem clubs eye by Christmas and were at the bottom there’ll be gone?
Then what we drop out of the champs in to the first and loose sight of a return to top flight? Yes there’ll be a credit crunch then when the gates start to drop n the t.v money drops.
Some times you have to speculate to accumulate bite the bullet pay the fees sign the players stop the rot.
ok its a bit dramatic but dont think were getting all the truth it needs sorting

If the rumours I've heard about Tonge's sale (which unfortunately, I'm not at liberty to discuss) are indeed true, then regardless of whether we had another replacement in or not, it was the right decision to sell him.

We've had this discussion elsewhere on the forum... regardless of which players the fans would like to sign and the money offered in that players direction, if they do not want to come to Sheffield United then we just can't sign them.

I don't know of any players that we couldn't sign for money issues alone and until someone can say "we missed out on X because we didn't offer enough cash" I will have to upset beightonblade and stick to my beliefs that something is being done and for some other reason, just isn't coming off.

Would fans be happy if we'd signed another squad full of mediocre players just so we couldn't be labelled a selling club? Or would they prefer we sold three players who weren't doing it for the Blades to bring one good player in?

Who is this one good player though?

Of course the board aren't going to come out and say "well we have't signed someone because we can't afford it" after all they have said previously.

I'm not saying it's the case we don't have money, just I don't believe the powers that be are as transparent as they'd have us believe.

I took Linz's comment as in another coming in.

Whilst I don't dispute that SJH and Hendo are good players, I'd rather have Stead than Hendo. And SJH was a free
