I prefer to watch the highlights on You tube, you get the same length but with out the shit channel five punditry, and watch the only team that matters Sheffield United, sod the rest of them.

Exactly, everyone should wait til I get home to post the highlights thread.

Then there is no need to watch crappy Channel 5.

Thing is, in this day and age, there should be a 'Match of the Day' style show for each league which could be downloadable.

Exactly this. It wouldn't be hard to make a 90-minute show for each division, even if they are on at 2-3am on Saturday night/Sunday morning and then available on catchup.

Channel 5's effort, as well as the Sky "highlights" are just awful. 10 seconds of play before each goal, no replays or highlights showing near misses (unless it's a 0-0 game), and zero analysis of games. It really does prove beyond all doubt that the media don't give a shiny shit about anything outside the premier league.

For my part, I watch Sky "highlights" online of blades games that I can't attend, just to see the goals. Not giving viewing figures to that condescending, disrespectful shite on 5.
