This 'cheap' option always comes up........Robson wasn't cheap,Blackwell was cheap in comparison to Robson but I bet he was on at least £250k per annum,Speed was (apprantly) on more than Blackwell so when have we chose the 'cheap' option ? And who would it have been 'cheap' compared to ?

According to the Guardian Today Speed is now on £200k. Yesterday they were reporting he would have to take a £75k pay cut in order to take the job.

Birch is on £251k, Chedwyn is taking home close to a million - in that context it's pretty cheap.

Yes mate he has about 50% right at the mo he told me about Beattie going, Cressy in and Then Morgs to QPR and something else wrong. Hoping he will be at 40% soon

I think all players and managers should be paid on results, you'd never get any apathetic or lazy players then as they wouldn't be getting paid as much. Performance related pay in football, it's the future!
