Is f*king sh*t. Send him back to West Brom. He missed a sitter against Barnsley, one against Reading and a couple today. What does he add to the side? Him and Brian Howard need to be training with the youth team.

We were talking on similar lines on the way back and my 9 year old grandson said, "yes but Gramps, at least Craig Beattie his getting himself into positions to miss chances, the others aren't".

Out of the mouths of babes ;)

Very harsh. I think he's generally played pretty well when called upon. Infact i'd probably say he's exceeded my expectations.

He probably should have done better with the chance you mention, but that doesn't mean he should be banished to the youth team.

i agree, touch like a baby elephant aswell... As for howard i just cant see what he contributes to the team (yes i know he scored against reading) he was good for the Dingle family but thats not hard even kozluck looks alf decent in that team..

I think he offers a lot, he wasnt the only one yesterday firing blanks!!!

I'd love to see a baby elephant pluck the ball out of the air with his chest like he did at Reading... getting on the end of Halfords ball.

If think generally, his touch is pretty good, he's very useful at holding up the ball, bringing people into play and generally causing defenders trouble.

In the few games he's had for us, he's impressed me more than Sharp has this season.

Sometimes his final touch seems to lack a bit of composure, but as has been said at least he gets himself into position to have the final touch. Let's be honest, if he could knock them in every time he wouldn't be playing for us.

I'd get rid of Sharp and sign him and Lupoli.

.

I think if the ball hit a elephant it would actually stop the ball dead haha.

Anyways, I think he has 'something' to offer the Blades, and it's better to see him up front rather than the left wing now. But I'd still prefer to see Lupoli brought in rather than him.

The topic deserves a recall... more than beattie. worst player in the championship, anyone who can say different, please give evidence and also open you eyes. So annoyed at this current time :(

Takes too long on the ball rather than just shooting!

Are we basing it on his two worst games for United, or the ones before it?

I was suprised to see him starting, especially over some of the other lads, doesn't impress me, he gets some good balls, but i think meh carry on kid.

I want to see more oomph, seems to lack that often.

See people slag webber off, but webber has the pace and oomph I want to see...i've seen other players make way more mistakes than he does, and they never get called for it....infact people often praise those players...if your face don't fit huh

He wasn't the only poor player out there representing the Blades last night, any criticism should fall fully on the managers shoulders.

I agree, the last 2 games he hasn't been great but he is not on his own. Its up to the manager to see that a player is not having the best game and to encourage him along and, if that doesn't work sub him, put am arm around him and tell him why. The team has to come first it's a results game.

i believe that therein lies the issue, the last few games ive sen him play, he's come on, had his instructions, and he doesnt do it. KB tells him again, then they just argue, which isnt professional.

For me, i dont like him, i dont want him in the team, on the bench or the bus. I think he can do a job, but not for us, we dont play the right way.

In his other games he hasn't exactly been great, just not as bad. And i agree that Blackwell is to partly to blame. Why he started him i don't know and why it took him so long to get off the field i still don't know.

Make sme laugh he tried to outpace burnley#s midfeild and defence on numerous occasions, when he's actually slow.
