Is it just cruel for me to be happy if we sent cov down next Saturday? Didn't realise they had a danger of going down.

No.

It is also not cruel to hope that Birmingham get relegated on the basis that...

1) they are probably going to end up in admin
2) it's a local game for me :D

Coventry don't have a chance in hell of going down teams below need 4pts to overtake them due to Coventrys better goal difference. Colchester play Brentford next so regardless of what happens with the other games they will definately finish below Cov.

I wouldn't want to play Birmingham next season. Let the bottom three stay as it is. They hold no fear for me (hoping that won't come back to haunt me)

If brum go down they'll be in a rite old mess, they end up in admin and have to sell all top earners. So I wouldn't fear them as much as Blackpool, but as you say the other two should'nt bother us.

Do Blackpool have ant PL parachute payments left?

As for Brum if they get relegated and admin some big wallet will step in

Blackpool have signed a cracking full back off some lower league team who were stupid enough to take there own fullback on loan to the end of the season , with an option to sign him at the end of this season , Sir Nigel stupid as a fox .
Teams to come down Dingles and Blackpool , handy trips for the Blades , hope Colchester , Carlisle , go down with Stevenage , Blades can do without those trips , and 4 near ones coming up , won't cost as much in our promotion season next season .
UTB .

I am rather pleased we may be going back to Huish Park. I know it is a dump, but it presents a chance to have a weekend in Somerset which is always enjoyable.

I like Somerset it is full of toothless simpletons who drink cidré and stockbrokers.

Think there'll be a fire sale at Coventry boo.

Any remaining big earners will be cherry-picked for below value fees.

Getting rid of one half of your main scoring duo, with the other reportedly being touted as their next sale, will suck the life out their club.

Is this some kind of mixer?

They have already had 10 deducted this season - not sure they can get any more unless they go into admin again - but they have cut their costs dramatically - even though their revenue stream must be close to rock all to go with it.

I think the rules state you can't start the next season in admin. Which means they might get another deduction if they are still in admin...

They have a couple of good players we could take off their hands for cheap.Baker,Moussa or wilson who would propably not be too cheap

That fella on the right works for Redmayne-Bentley don't you know. ;)

I hope Coventry survive. Not because I've any type of soft spot for them, just due to the fact their fans have really had to suffer. I am not quite sure how I would feel if the Blades stopped playing at BDTBL and chose to play home matches miles away. It's going down t'Lane that has been the most enjoyable part of many of our seasons. There for the grace of God etc etc....

To join up threads - Winnie Royston (on the United Documentary) 'There's just something about Bramall Lane..'

One description that has been used about us this season on more than one occassion is 'A proper club with proper fans.' It would be appropriate on Saturday for us to show our appreciation for the travelling Coventry fans who have chose not to be glory hunters and have been well and truly sold down the river.

They sure have been shat upon.

Should remind us all to be careful what we wish for.

Always used to enjoy trips to Highfield Road.

A proper ground with proper fans.
