That is all I can feel for the wankers who have pulled on the red and white stripes of Sheffield United this season.
I care about the likes of Doyle, Murphy, Flynn, Porter, Kitson, Hill and McDonald about as much as the care about their own performances, and I think the feeling is mutual. If this was a football team from North Korea then they would deservedly being flogged for their shame. Instead they will be swanning off on their expensive holidays and able to enjoy an extra couple of weeks off thanks to their ineptitude, and no doubt being funded by thousands of pounds being deposited in their bank accounts every month which come from the football club that I and many others spend thousands of pounds watching every year, who follow year in, year out, and invest too much hope and belief in.
The problem is this is a club that will give them an easy ride, a club where nobody will give them a kick up the backside, a club where they are free to do as the please, and they can take the money and run. Do the fans care enough or has the apathy reached us, hard to tell really but the sorry sight of some fans actually clapping them off today beggared belief. They should have walked off with the song "your not fit to wear the shirt" because they fucking aren't, but how many people have got the backbone to give them the fully deserved round of fucks they deserve?
Too many people are happy to be spoonfed this shit from the club and players, but this supporter who cares, still has a bit of passion does not. In the words of Noel Gallagher "if it makes you happy, keep on clapping". We will be having this same old shitfest at the end of the season wondering why we didn't get out of League 2 in the next few seasons. McCabe will still be spoon feeding the same crap to the fans and still receiving the adulation at the fans forums because words are easy, but walking the walk isn't. The man has lost a fortune at this club because he hasn't got any idea how to run it, and now wants his money back. Chris Morgan is now nothing but a yes man, no credentials to speak of for the managers job, he has been part of the problem this season but he says all the right things to get the job he craves but is so woefully out of his depth in.
I could go on all night, but I've frankly got better things to do with my life than worry about a football club that empties my bank account but gives me very little in return. I've got the direct debit form for my ST at home and I'm seriously considering binning it. Why should I fucking bother any more?
